Renovation contractor · Beacon, NY

We rebuild kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, attics, mudrooms and porches from the studs out, and finish on the day we said.

Ridge & Row is a twelve-person crew that has been renovating houses in the Hudson Valley since 2011. We draw it, permit it, demolish it, build it and paint it. You deal with one company and one phone number the whole way through.

How a job runs

Four steps, one phone number.

The same four steps on every job, whether it is a hall bath or the whole ground floor. Keep scrolling and the ring fills as we go.

  1. 01

    Measure Week 0

We come out, walk the room with you and measure everything twice. You get an honest range on the spot and a fixed number in writing within the week.

  2. 02

    Draw & price Weeks 1–4

Measured drawings and a 3D layout you can stand inside. Cabinets, tile and fixtures are chosen and ordered before a single wall comes down.

  3. 03

    Build Weeks 5–12

Our own crew, one foreman, the same faces every day. Floors covered, dust walls up, the site swept every evening, one working bathroom at all times.

  4. 04

    Hand over Last day

A walk-through with a punch list we clear before the final invoice, which matches the number we signed. Then a call at twelve months to check on it.

  • 140+jobs finished by our own crew, start to finish

What we do

Three things, done completely.

The prices below are honest starting points for a mid-size job in the Hudson Valley in 2026, with our own crew doing the work. Your number comes after we have measured, and it is written down before we start.

01

Kitchens

Layout, cabinetry, counters, electrical, plumbing, tile and paint. We open a wall when it earns its keep and leave it standing when it doesn’t.

  • Measured drawings and a 3D layout before you sign
  • Permits pulled and inspections booked by us
  • Cabinets ordered before demolition, so there is no gap

From$42,000

Usually 6–9 weeks on site

02

Bathrooms

Full gut to finish. Waterproofing done properly, tile set by the same two people every time, fixtures you chose. Hall bath or primary suite.

  • Membrane waterproofing behind every shower, flood-tested
  • Curbless and grab-bar-ready options at no extra design fee
  • One working bathroom in the house at all times

From$18,500

Usually 3–5 weeks on site

03

Basements, decks & attics

The rooms you don’t have yet. Egress windows, insulation and framing downstairs; a deck that will outlast the mortgage out back; a bedroom under the roof.

  • Drainage and moisture fixed before a single stud goes in
  • Cedar or composite decking, footings below frost line
  • Structural engineer on call for beams and dormers

From$24,000

Usually 4–10 weeks on site

On siteClear cedar, sanded by hand · Rhinebeck deck

Not on the list? Mudrooms, porches, whole-floor refreshes and the odd staircase — ask. If we are not the right crew for it, we will tell you who is.

What clients say

Neighbours ask who did it, before the paint is dry.

Four notes from recent jobs. These are sample reviews written for this template; the real ones go here, in your clients’ own words.

They said nine weeks. It took eight and a half, and the only surprise was a better cabinet layout the foreman suggested in week one. I have never had a contractor call me back faster.

Our basement flooded twice before Ridge & Row touched it. They fixed the drainage first and only then built the room. Two winters dry so far, and the kids live down there now.

The crew swept every evening and covered the hallway floor for five weeks straight. My neighbour asked who did our bathroom before the tile was even grouted.

One estimate, one number, and the final invoice matched it to the dollar. The deck is where we eat now, May to October.
